The Citizens Advice service,Citizens Advice - the charity for your community, helps people resolve their legal, money and other problems by providing free information and advice, and by influencing policy makers.

The Citizens Advice service provides free, independent, confidential and impartial advice to everyone on his or her rights and responsibilities. It values diversity, promotes equality and challenges discrimination.

They can be found in more than 2,500 community locations, in such places as libraries or GP surgeries, and courts in England and Wales.  23,000 trained volunteers and 7000 paid staff provide the services required to help people solve the problems they bring to the advice centres.

Each local Citizens Advice charity is a member of the national Citizens Advice charity and together it forms the Citizens Advice service.
