The Criminal Injuries Compensation authority (CICA) is the government body responsible for administering the Criminal Injuries Compensation Scheme in England, Scotland and Wales. The CICA are part of the Ministry of Justice and also provide a service on behalf of the Scottish Government. They deal with compensation claims from people who have been physically or mentally injured because they were the blameless victim of a violent crime in England, Scotland or Wales.

The Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority (CICA) currently employs over 450 staff and its main office is based at Glasgow.  The CICA has a Chief Executive and board of directors.
