Enquiries of local authority

This form is used by solicitors and licensed conveyancers in property transactions.

The purpose of these enquiries is to establish from the local authority whether the property is affected by such matters as planning and building regulations, roads and other matters.

The enquiries are also used to obtain valuable information about planning decisions and pending applications as well as listed building consents all of which may affect the value of the property to be purchased.

The form usefully sets out on the reverse side the various matters and enquiries which are included in the enquiries made of the local authority.
