Oath for administrators

A sworn statement to establish the administrator's authority to act in the estate where there is no valid will.

The principle involved here is similar to the Oath for Executors except that the Oath for Administrators is used where there is no valid will.

As there is no valid will  - no executors will have been appointed so this means that an Administrator is appointed from a list of appropriate persons according to their relationship to the deceased.

The Oath for Administrators is about proving that the person or persons, intending to act as Administrator/s, are who they say they are.
